Who needs a dog walker?

• Travelers who can't take their pets with them
• People with busy lives

As with humans, exercise and getting out in the fresh air is good for dogs, young and old. My pet sitting practice includes getting dogs out for a walk, or if you prefer, playing in your own secure yard.

I offer a personalized, boutique experience for your dog. I don’t do group walks, unless I am walking pets from the same household. Group walks can become rowdy, unruly affairs with personality conflicts, which takes the fun out of a walk in the sunshine.

If you have an elderly dog or a very young puppy for whom walks aren't appropriate, I'll drop in and make sure their water bowl is clean and filled with fresh water, give them a little mental stimulation, light grooming such as a brush out, and play indoors, if that is appropriate.

At the end of my visit I'll send you a short report via text or email and a photo of your beloved dog, to let you know how the visit went.

I'm insured through Business Insurers of the Carolinas, have a Red Cross certification for Dog and Cat first aid, and am licensed by the City of San Jose.

This means:

For your dog: Visits that include a walk, playtime, fresh water, light grooming such as a brush out, a snack or meal (if appropriate), companionship & fun

For you: Happiness, knowing your dog is getting good care while you're not home.

Overnight Visits

For those times when you can't bring your dog with you while you travel, I'm available for overnight sits as well. I'll come to your home and stay with your pets, giving them the overnight attention they deserve.

As with my drop-in visits, I will send you a short report via text or email and a photo of your beloved dog, to let you know how the visit went.
