For those of you who don't need a pet sitter to take care of your animals while you are away, I am available to house sit, either to drop in and do a few chores or to spend overnights in the house.
I am an experienced, honest, and reliable house and pet sitter, a good problem solver, and have excellent communication skills. You can be confident I will treat your home and belongings with respect.
My references are available upon request.
I'm insured for house sitting through Business Insurers of the Carolinas, have a Red Cross certification for Dog and Cat first aid, and am licensed by the City of San Jose.
My service area includes the Silicon Valley areas of Willow Glen, Cambrian, Downtown San José, and Campbell.
Drop-in Visits
$20 per 30 minute visit
Overnight Visits
$55 per night, 12 hours (7 p.m. - 7 a.m. or by mutual agreement) | $15 additional half-hour visits during the day
House sitting service
- Collect, sort, and/or forward mail
- Collect packages
- Water indoor plants
- Water outdoor/potted plants
- Rotate lights or window coverings
- Secure your house
What I offer
As an experienced house sitter, I know you want to feel confident your home and your belongings are safe while you're not in town. I'll come in and check on your house, monitor your surveillance footage, and help make your home look lived in. I will forward your mail, and give you periodic reports about what is happening in your neighborhood and home.
When I leave your home, I will be sure to secure it — shut all windows, close window coverings/blinds, make sure the exterior doors are closed and locked, and set alarms (if any).
Pet Care
I also take care of your animals when you travel. In addition to dogs, cats, and small caged animals, I'm experienced with taking care of birds and chickens, and fish (cold water, fresh water aquariums, only).
